Following Indiana’s new remodel, I've created a new and improved design for the brochures, flyers and business cards to fit the look. I have simplified it using neutral colors, and replaced all the bulky paragraphed with simple structured sentences. All of our contact information is featured on the back cover to make it an easy source to refer to. On a quest to find reliable and more affordable suppliers for our Spa’s beauty products I set sail for two ardent months of research until I found; Locally produced, fragrance free natural massage oils, creams, and masks. Through these new suppliers, I was able to reduce our Spa’s prices by 20% to increase demand and by the same token, profit.
Sunset being a prime attraction for all tourists on the island it was imperative that the venue featured an allure that was not to be missed! What better than to gather friends and family around a Pina colada to watch the flaming sun setting on the horizon? I established a ‘Happy Hour’ to create an incentive for people to purchase cocktails by offering them at a reduced price.
To my surprise this establishment did not have any business cards to represent their entity. One of my first endeavours we’re to implement these. With a simple and minimalistic design in mind I created cards which featured the brands logo, with the appropriate contact information. With these, I implemented an SOP (Standard operational procedure) for the front office to automatically hand one to incoming guests.
Opened 10 years ago, Indiana Kenanga Hotel’s brochure have never been changed. Since few months, many renovations have been made throughout all the establishment: rooms, bathrooms, new restaurant design with a new French chef (Manu) offering a new style more actual, modern and soft. All thess improvements and investements were totally hidden from visitors who had a look on our older brochure, which wasn’t reflecting what we truly offer to our guests. Therefore, I’ve design a new style, more modern with a square shape (15cm x 15cm) and add texts more talkative and significant with simple structured pictures. Through this new introduction, people can directly project themselves in our new place.

Plastic is a serious problem in Bali and represent the majority of the pollution found on the Island and its neighboring Islands. The majority of plastic borrles end up in landfills or in water sources ( Rivers, oceans…) To eliminate our plastic consumption, water bottles are solely available in glass. Either ordered from the menu or the mini bar I have limited the availability of these in glass only. Each room is equipped with a big glass water dispenser.
On every level, and through the most minor details we make sure to reduce our carbon footprint wherever. Our Key Cards reduce electricity consumption by automatically turning the lights off when leaving the room. We make sure to empty the bins in one central bin as opposed to changing the plastic bin bags at every use. This way we reuse our bags as opposed to utilizing these as single-use items.
