Since February 2017, CNPF is embarking on a new importartion project: a new natural water source, located in Alsace (France). CNPF want to incorporate this water named "Velleminfroy" in the Chinese market at the same time as my arrival in this company, which was a great opportunity for me. I was fortunate to be able to participate on this project and I was highly invested.
Marketing: Catalog creation and production
I accomplished all the Catalog's Design Marketing, wrote in english which was then translated into Chinese for the commercial version. I had to adapt to the Chinese market to succeed and gain credibility.
For the writing, I learn and ingest as more information as possible of this source and its specifities through books, catalogs and websites. My intention was to know the product as I had created it.
For the layout realization, I've use my creative spirit, intended to make a mix of vintage and modern design reflecting the source's old age and a luxury product.
Intended to promote our water, I realized an Excel board with all interesting company (luxury hotel, supermarket, supermarket on the internet, dirty fitness, babyshop, restaurants, pharmacy, bakery, ect)
Promote our product
Once the list was complete, it was necessary to launch the promotion of the product.
Despite frequent relaunching, almost all of the people concerned didn’t reply or refused to collaborate. The fact that our product is not yet known neither on the Chinese market, nor on any other market, we weren't enough credible.
Then, we went directly to companies in order to present our product. For credibility reasons, I use to played a role as I was from Vellemifroy (and not from CNPF) and I travelled from France to include my brand in the Chinese's market. This strategy particularly attracts their attention and the foreign image, especially French, reassures them.
After having introduce myself, I present my product: talk about its specialities and benefits, its well done, origin, taste, explain that it had won a Nobel Prize, show videos on our laptop, add that we already have succeed in China (even if it wasn’t true), and the compare with our competitors (VOSS, Evian, Volvic, Fiji and Perier)
Then, there were 2 possibilities: Failure or success.
